The Town of Huntington is proud to support “Car Free Day Long Island” on Thursday, September 22nd.
Car Free Day L.I. helps to encourage Long Islanders to take a non-motorized mode of transport for the work day commute. If a non-motorized means poses a challenge, there are other ways to help reduce carbon emissions such as utilizing mass transit or taking carpools with friends and co-workers.
