Councilman Cuthbertson Kicks Off NY Rangers "Hockey Helps 24 Hour Marathon" on September 2nd

On Saturday, September 2nd, Councilman Mark Cuthbertson had the honor in helping to kickoff the annual “Hockey Helps 24-Hour Marathon” hosted by the New York Rangers Ice Hockey Organization.  NY_Rangers_Hockey_Helps_2017.jpg

Councilman Cuthbertson was joined by NY Rangers great, Adam Graves, along with Huntington’s Paralympic gold medal winner, Mikey Brannigan and his father, Kevin at the Dix Hills Ice Rink.

"Thanks to the efforts of the NY Rangers Ice Hockey Organization and all of the players and teams that participated, the marathon raised more than $400,000 with all proceeds benefiting the Northshore Holiday House," stated Councilman Mark Cuthbertson. 

The Northshore Holiday House is a local charitable organization that provides free summer camps to more than 200 children each summer.
